Gallery > Torn Wing: An Elegy To Childhood

My first husband died when his body could keep down nothing but alcohol. He lay for days before the police found him. A fifteen foot long path to the sofa where he died was lined five deep with quart vodka bottles. He grew up a neglected child of alcoholics. He believed he was a drunk long before he was. There was no way out of it.
